New Holiday Jewelry

We have so much new jewelry in the store right now, it's making us giddy! Only a smidge of it has been posted onto the website, but more will follow as I photograph it and upload it onto the site. Here are a few pics of new stuff:

Fall 2009 Preview

A very old clover locket I found in the Chelsea flea market in August. I attached it to a gold and turquoise chain for contrast.
Another item I scored from Chelsea while in New York; an old Chinese slipper in gold fill. Really cool..
14k gold and sterling pink tourmaline and diamond ring, now in the shop.
pave diamond jewelry we have or have had.
Just for fun: we love organic jewelry so I put some of my favorites together.

Estate Rings and Hands

This ring from the 1940's sold over Mother's Day. I loved the spring like color of the stone and the setting was a combo of 14k yellow with 14k green gold floral detail.

This baby is brilliant! Nearly a carat of European cut diamonds are set into a classic cluster design. The gold is not quite yellow and not quite rose gold. Very deserving of a bride.

The cast hands are a new addition to the Pica line and they include a figa, a mudra, and a Santo hand. All cast in bronze with 18k gold jump rings, they are $78 each for the figa and mudra and $98 for the Santo.

Miss Do-Gooder

My talented and gracious friend Susan created Miss Do-Gooder in order to raise awareness to those causes out there that need more attention and support. She started with animal cruelty and has just recently launched the super cool grey T which supports literacy. She plans on making and selling t-shirts to support poverty, AIDS, domestic abuse, global warming and unfair trade. She gives 20% from each sale to these amazing causes. You know those guys who call you at home and ask you to support their charity or police department or whatever? They give about 1% of your donation to their cause; Susan is giving 20%. That is huge! So proud of you, girl!

Skulls

Ya know, I just have a thing for skulls. Maybe it's because my 2 boys enjoy drawing skull and crossbone tattoos on me--maybe it's because I'm just a little bit too aware of my mortality--maybe it's because they are cool looking!! I just like em..
