The jewelry by Lina Fanourakis is so beautiful! Especially that bubble ring! Where can I buy it and how much does it cost?
I discovered Lina many years ago in Greece and fell in love with her jewelry but couldn't afford it. Now, I'm not so sure I can afford it, but life is getting shorter. Do you carry her work or can you point me to someone who does? I live in Seattle.

Hi Laura ! How funny, I am french, live in Paris and I discovered Lina's jewelry in 2002. I was also passionate of jewels since i was a little girl and also had a grand mother that showed me all her jewels like yours ! I liked so much the fanourakis jewelry that I opened a nice little boutique in Paris with her jewels.
I would like to get in touch with you so I give you my mail and you can contact me :

Since my childhood, my mother kept admiring Fanourakis work. For long years, she, an architect of great taste, designed her own jewelry as she couldn't find original and modern pieces. About 25 years ago, she finally bought herself her first necklass, brooch and earrings designed by Lina's husband who my mother knew well (they both were natives of Crete).
I'm a real passionate of Greek designers who I consider the most talented specialists but Fanourakis is THE one. The designs are refined, the quality of materials used are such that both the colours and the pieces themselves are not altered with time.
For my university degree in 1993, my mum offered to me my first piece of mythic jewelry, a ring that 15 years later I still wear very often. From then on, I always receive one for any important event: my wedding, my 30th and, most probably, 40th birthday and I plan to do the same for my daughters. The eldest received some pins and a cross for her christiening while the youngest ones received medaillons and pins or their birth.
Real jewelry passionates, do not hesitate. I will personnally be heading next week to the Paris shop to choose a pair of earrings for the 40th birthday of a very close friend of mine.
Help!
On a trip to Greece around 1996 I purchased the most fabulous rose cut diamond/gold ring that was stolen from my home. They took a Breitling watch and all my Greek jewelry. I guess they had discriminating taste to say the least. I have been trying to track down the ring, but so far no luck. I dream about it and sometimes roam around my home thinking that it's hidden in a place I haven't looked. It was in the shape of a cigar band and I was wondering if you have anything similar in your current collection. Thanks

I have a Lina Fanourakis ring I sadly must sell. It is the most beautiful pale amethyst , cut in a smooth cone shape set with bands of diamonds which are visible through the clarity of the stone. if any of you admirers of Lina's work are interested, please let me know.
I bought the ring, amongst other pieces from Lina's collection, on Santorini where I lived for ten years.
Hi all, thank you for visiting my blog! Just to let you know, we do not carry the Lina Fanourakis line of jewelry, I just admire the work and featured it so as to pass it on to others. I wish I did carry her work, as it seems she has quite the fan club!
Just an FYI for all here... I have been quite taken by Fanourakis designs and purchased a couple of pieces for my wife. For those in the U.S. on the East Coast Bergdorf Goodman carries the line in New York.
